FRIENDS OF THE MAGIC 

Friends Of The Magic is the brainchild of Tony Pascale and Paul Barrie.

It’s a community of Disney Fan Podcasts & listeners! We meet at Disneyland regularly and just generally have fun!  We hold our annual event where you can come meet us and sometimes Disney Legends.  For more info, go to :

The Friends Of The Magic Gathering 2025 is May 3-4, 2025, & YOU are invited!  Join us for a weekend of friends, food & fun at the Disneyland resort!  It’s free to attend but park admission is required for some meets.

ORIGINS OF FOTM

Friends Of The Magic was a term Paul Barrie and Tony Pascale came up with.  We were with other communities but wanted to branch out on our own.  I started Friends Of the Magic online community like Facebook as well Dizfriends where you could create your profile plus meet others.  Sadly the software was buggy,  had bad spam, and fake account filtering, so I closed it.

We wanted to do our gathering where people can enjoy and have fun. Friends Of The Magic was born.  We held our first one in 2009, and with great success.  Then, in 2012 and 201,3, sadly,  I could not attend due to financial reasons.  In 2014, I made my return to hold my signature events room for 1,000, and I smell watermelon. Then in  2015, I could not attend for financial reasons.

Sadly, I was a victim of arson and my car was lost.  During that time with love and dedication, Paul continued to host the gathering himself.  Without his organization, FOTM would not run smoothly.
